CD Label Printing |
| |
We can print your info and logo onto CD's or DVD's that
you provide your customers. We have 2 options,
printing directly onto the CD and printing CD labels on
our press. Printing directly onto the CD gives the
best quality and looks the most professional, but CD
labels are cost effective and look great. Most
photographers print the labels and apply them to their
own CD's. |

Quantity prices are for printing from the same image.
If you are printing different labels for each CD or DVD, then
you will pay the 1+ price.
When you design your CD label, make your image a 5x5 square and
leave room in the center for the hub. The image on the
right is of a DVD, therefore the center is small (.75in)
CD centers are typically larger (1.75in). So layout your
design accordingly. Please leave 1/8" bleed around the
edge of the CD circle as well (leave the entire square the
background design).

Premium Papers |
| |
- Pearl paper has a metallic shimmer to it. Lighter
colors show this effect better and a dark or black
background is not recommended, especially on cuts and folds.
- Linen paper is a textured paper with a canvas like
texture. This gives your cards a very unique
feel.
- Pearl-Linen paper is a combination of 2
great papers. Now our #1 seller, this paper is great
for all card types, folds easily, and can be UV coated.
- Pebble paper has a pebble like texture and looks similar
to our pro-luster photo paper. Sure to be popular this
coming year!
- Watercolor paper has a felt type texture and a
soft touch. If you like linen, but want something
different, this may be it.
- Recycled Thick Matte is our thickest paper yet
(130lb Cover)! This is the paper you've been waiting
for. Very thick and rigid with a great feel.
Note that their are some darker fibers in this paper as it
is recycled.
- All double sided and folded cards are printed on
cover stock (very thick and durable, 100lb), including our pearl
and linen papers.
- UV coating is a clear semi-gloss finish that adds a real
professional look and feel to your announcement (not like
photo glossy paper, as it does not finger print easily). UV coating will bring out the
shimmer with our pearl and pearl-linen papers. UV
coating cannot be written on, so you should not UV coat
RSVP cards or any card you plan to write on. We cannot
UV coat linen, watercolor or recycled thick matte papers.

How To Setup Your Images |
| |
- All files MUST be in RGB mode and use the sRGB
profile. Our ploppers are set to print in sRGB, if any other
profile is used it will NOT be converted and will be
printed improperly. We are not able to check
every file we print, so please submit them with the
correct profile as we cannot reprint orders that
were not submitted correctly.
- Proofs are free with orders of 50+ cards
or $5.00 for smaller orders. We recommend
always getting a proof so you know exactly what your
cards will look like. We cannot reprint orders
unless a proof was ordered.
- You should size your images to the recommended
sizes in the description of each product (including
bleed), then simply drag and drop your images into
the correct panels.
- Bleed must be included in your designs.
The best way to do this in Photoshop is to start
with a canvas the size you want to print. Then
drag guides in 1/4" on all sides. Make sure
your background extends all the way to the edges,
but that none of your content or text crosses the
guides you have set at 1/4". We only need 1/8"
bleed, but setting your guides at 1/4" insures that
there is not a cut right next to your content or
text and will make your final print look much
better. DO NOT add a white border to be
used for bleed, this WILL result in uneven white
lines on the final print.

Ordering Using Ploppers |
| |
- If you experience problems using our templates, make sure you have the most current
version of Java. It is also recommended to use
Firefox 3.5+ or
Google Chrome
on a PC and Safari if you are on a Mac.
- Struggling with our ordering systems? If
you are getting stuck while ordering, unable to add photos
or continue the checkout process, give us a call at
801-785-7432. We can
show you how to best use our ordering systems. Once
you get your first order to work correctly, subsequent
orders are much easier.
- Images dropped into the ploppers are low
resolution preview and do not represent what will be
printed. Your original files will be uploaded
during the checkout process.
- If you need to order more than one product at a
time you can do this each time you get to your
shopping cart. Once the product is added to
the shopping cart, you can close the shopping cart
and return to our website to add another product.
Note that you cannot combine standard photo print
orders with our gifts/press printed orders, they are
two separate systems.
